What we process and why
- Contact form and email. Your name, email address and message reach us by email. We use them to reply and to prepare a possible collaboration (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). That email also contains the IP address you sent the form from, so we can recognise abuse (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Spam protection. The form uses no reCAPTCHA or other third-party service. Our server counts how often a message is sent per IP address, with a maximum of five per hour. That counter clears itself after an hour.
- Visitor statistics. We measure visits with Umami, a statistics tool without cookies. It counts page views, referring sites, browser and country. Your IP address is not stored and you are not identifiable as a person. The data lives on a server in the European Union.
- Server logs. Like every web server, our hosting keeps technical logs: IP address, time, requested page and browser. We use them only to trace outages and abuse, and keep them for a limited time.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers, which is why you see no cookie banner. Fonts and images load from our own server, so your browser sends nothing to Google Fonts or any other external service.
How long we keep data
We keep a message sent through the form or by email for as long as we need to follow up on your question. If it leads to a collaboration, we keep the correspondence for as long as that collaboration runs, and afterwards for as long as legal retention periods (such as accounting rules) require. If no collaboration follows, we delete your message at the latest one year after our last contact.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Only our hosting partner processes it technically, on servers in the European Union. We pass data to a public authority only when the law requires it.
Your rights
You may access your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object to a processing operation or ask us to transfer your data. An email to hello@nuvvo.be is enough. We reply within a month.
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
Changes
If this site or the way we process data changes, we update this policy. The date at the top tells you when that last happened.
